WHAT TO BRING
Tips for a great stay
What's in our kitchen
There is a small, but fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and small freezer compartment and a 4 ring gas hob & oven.
Cutlery, plates, glasses, pots and pans, sheets and towels are provided and there is a water filter for drinking water.
There is also an outside BBQ, a charcoal oven and Pizza oven. We provide eco-friendly Chardust charcoal briquettes.
There are solar lamps in the tents.
What to Bring
Please bring all your food, drinks & drinking ice for you're stay at Teddy Bear. The Camp is self-catering only and there are no shops on the island.
Keep your food in the fridge & your drinks in the drinks box under the bar in the mess.
Please bring ice blocks to keep your drinks cool.
PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH AWAY WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE THE CAMP
Bring sunblock & insect repellent.
Bring torches.
Wear gym shoes to climb to the top of the island.
Bring sun hats & sunglasses for boat trips.
Remember to bring your phone charging cables.
We have a charging bar in the main living area.
Refridgeration
The fridge in the kicthen is powered by solar battery and generator. It can make small quantities of ice, but we recommend you bring drinking ice and large blocks of ice for your cool boxes and your drinks.
If there is cloudy weather the solar will not be strong enough to power the freezer for long. Try not to stress the fridge freezer by opening frequently.
Keep the fridge for food only.
We recommend keeping ALL your drinks with large blocks of ice in the cold box-on-wheels located under the bar.
For stays over 2 days we recommend ONE FULL cold box containing ice blocks drinking ice is brought and used to top up the drinks cooler as required.

The Camp runs on a hybrid system of solar, battery & generator. The Mess has plugs to recharge phones & tablets and there is phone signal throughout, so internet is available.
There are fairy lights throughout the Mess and lanterns and solar lamps too.
Please bring only WHITE (non-coloured) candles.
Teddy Bear provides solar lamps in the rooms.
BEDDING
Teddy Bear provides sheets, blankets, pillows and towels.
There are also towels for the pool. Our team will make the beds and clean the bathrooms daily.

Leaving the Island
Teddy Bear Island has no ability to process your rubbish, so please bring bin bags & kindly take your non-organic refuse away with you when you go; especially all metal, glass and plastic.
Leave no footprint.
